The dance crew YUBINOWA, under the METEORA st. agency, recently sent two members to compete at Tutters Outlet X TurfInc Vol. 3 — an international dance battle event held July 25 in San Francisco that brings together top tutting and TURF dancers from around the world. The competition crowned a new world champion with a $1,000 prize pool.
The Results
KEYBOLT, who earned automatic seeding by winning the June Seattle qualifier, faced past world champion Clocks in the second round. Despite a spirited performance, he fell to Clocks' determined moves and finished in BEST 16. 源元 (Gen gen), who had to battle through the open qualifying bracket, also fought his way into the tournament before a split-decision loss to TURF Inc. legend Kosh in the first round, landing at BEST 32. (Kosh went on to defeat Clocks in the semifinals and claim the championship.)
